The year was 1985 and I was asked to produce Charlotte Diamond’s first album. It was an awesome responsibility and a great honor. I spent a lot of time planning the mood and style of each song and found great session players who could deliver the sound I was envisioning. The engineer
Bart Gurr was excellent. In a moment of jest Bart listed my name as Glitchless on the track sheets and that album went on to win both a Gold Record and a Juno as the best children’s album of 1986.
I went on to build a studio under the name Glitchless Productions and produce three dozen albums in the next 20 years and toured as Charlotte’s accompanist for 19 years.
I no longer have the studio building, but I still have much of the original equipment and recording is one of my favourite things to do.
I am available for recording, mixing and mastering.
